What cook can resist a great new cookbook?

Even better, what foodie/avid reader can resist a cookbook created by his/her favorite author?

Anthony Awards 2016 – Bouchercon

The World Mystery Convention, usually referred to as Bouchercon, is an annual conference named after Anthony Boucher, a mystery author and critic. This event honors various segments of the mystery and crime fiction community. The nominees for the 2016 Anthony Award were chosen by attendees at the 2015 convention, as well as early registrants for the 2016 event. The recognized works were published during 2015 and the winners were  announced in mid-September at the convention. You’ll notice some returning authors on the list of nominees as well as great new entries.

Looking for a book to read with a July 4th Mystery theme?

 

Book lists exist for every holiday during the year, with some titles on some lists that could be used with several different holidays. Switch Christmas for the USA 4th of July in the text and the story might work just as well – the mystery being the essential part of the piece.
