The Edgar Awards-2015 -Nominees and Winners

Each year, Mystery Writers of America (MWA) bestows the Edgar Awards upon deserving mystery writers. The nominated titles must have been published for the first time in the USA during 2014. 68 judges (published authors/members of MWA) select the winners from among 1,000 books, 500 short stories and TV crime shows. It is widely considered to be one of the (if not THE) most prestigious award granted in the crime writing field.

The nominees were announced in January, 2015 and the awards were given in New York City on April 29, 2015 at the MWA banquet. The winners are indicated in red.
